KCS teacher wins national Unsung Hero Award

Bethany Richeson wins national award for developing anti-bullying program
A.L. Brown teacher, Bethany Richeson, has been honored with a national Unsung Hero Award from ING Insurance Services. ING presented Richeson with a check for $2,000 and recognized her for developing an anti-bullying program that will help students identify, combat, and report bullying. Her program, "No More Bullies," will be used at A.L. Brown High School and will be expanded throughout the KCS district.
