School board adds Hilbish to Business Honor Roll

The Kannapolis City Board of Education has honored Hilbish Ford as the first recipient of its Business Honor Roll Award.

The North Carolina School Boards Association recently started the Business and Non-Profit Honor Roll. It allows school boards to honor local businesses for their outstanding contributions to schools and the community.

At its December 2013 meeting, the Kannapolis Board of Education recognized Hilbish Ford as the first name on the KCS Business Honor Roll. Hilbish Ford has supported Kannapolis City Schools in many ways, including the Hilbish Ford Teacher of the Month Award, the Drive One for your School program, donations of school supplies, and generous support of the Kannapolis Education Foundation.

The Board of Education and Superintendent Dr. Pam Cain presented the award to Buddy Hilbish, the owner and founder of Hilbish Ford, along with the General Manager of Hilbish Ford, Tim Vaughn.
