Be careful of the side switch.  Depending on what settings you've chosen, it can be used to mute your iPad or lock the rotation.  It's frustrating if you forget and accidentally activate it!

 

The Micro-SIM Tray is not part of the wireless models.

 

The Status bar tells you if the wireless is connected and how much power is remaining on the battery.

  • The iPad screen will rotate as you turn the iPad and adjust the text and pictures on the screen to fit the orientation
  • To launch an App, touch it.
  • To delete an App, touch and hold it until it jiggles. Then tap the "X".
  • To stop the jiggle, press the Home button.
  • Pinch, swipe, tap and double-tap to navigate through the various iPad screens.
  • You can use the Home button to wake up the iPad.
  • If you double-click the Home button, it will display any Apps that are already active at the bottom of the screen.
  • Swipe RIGHT to locate the Search Window.  Use it to search for Apps on your iPad, the Web, or Wikipedia.
