FAQ - How do I share my Google Calendar?

If you're unable to share your calendar, please try the following steps:

  1. Click on the “down arrow” next to your calendar name
  2. Select Share This Calendar
  3. Delete the individual who is having trouble accessing your calendar by clicking the 
  4. trash can icon next to his or her email address on the calendar's settings page.
  5. Save your settings by clicking on the Save button at the bottom of the page.
  6. Go back and re-enter the user's email address with the desired access settings.
  7. Save your settings again.
  8. After you've made these changes in your account, please have the individual who 
    you are sharing your calendar with sign in to Google Calendar. 
  9. At this time they should be able to view all the calendars to which they have access.




Another way of sharing your calendar with someone else is to provide them with 
your calendar's public address. To share your calendar using this method, just follow 
these steps:

  • Complete steps 1-7 above (if you haven’t already completed them.   THEN:
  • Click on the “down arrow” next to your calendar name
  • Select Share This Calendar

  • Scroll down to the "Calendar Address" section, click on the "XML" icon. A pop-up window 
    with your calendar's URL will appear.
  • Copy this address and send it to the friends that are having trouble accessing your 
    shared calendar.
  • When your friends receive your calendar's address, ask them to click the "Add" down-arrow 
    button at the top of the calendar list on the left and select "Add by URL."
