More than 100 KCS teachers received free school supplies from Classroom Central’s new VROOM truck when it came to the district on October 3rd. The truck is a new feature of Classroom Central’s outreach to school districts across the Charlotte region.

The VROOM truck serves as a mobile store, which can reach teachers in outlying areas served by Classroom Central. It saves teachers from making a trip to Charlotte to “shop” at Classroom Central’s main location. Instead, the VROOM mobile store comes to them, and they can stock up on all their supplies right in their own school district.

This was the first time the VROOM truck had come to Kannapolis City Schools. More than 100 teachers signed up and took advantage of the mobile shopping opportunity. Each teacher was allowed to stock up on paper, crayons, pens, notebooks, rulers, and other school supplies available from Classroom Central. All the supplies from Classroom Central are free.

Kannapolis City Schools is one of six Charlotte-area school districts served by Classroom Central. The VROOM truck will make a second visit to KCS in January. During other months of the year, KCS teachers are able to sign up to shop at Classroom Central’s main Charlotte location. All the supplies received from Classroom Central are free.

Everyone in Kannapolis City Schools is extremely grateful for the support of Classroom Central.
