Dear parents and interested citizens:
I am pleased to share with you our academic achievement results from the
2011-2012 school year. For the second year in a row, Kannapolis City
Schools’ graduation rate is well above the state average, and we once again made academic growth.

I am extremely proud of our talented and caring employees. We are dedicated
to serving your children and to providing them with a safe and caring
environment.  We also depend on you to be our partners, and we want to
keep you informed. We hope these report cards will give you the information
you need to be part of our students’ continued success.

We are excited about our continuing partnerships with the North Carolina
Research Campus, Rowan Cabarrus Community College, UNC Charlotte,
Wingate University, community service agencies, and other organizations that
are helping our students succeed and allowing more of our teachers
and administrators to earn advanced degrees.

Our staff and Board of Education are focused on making our schools
second-to-none.  We welcome your involvement, and we appreciate your
continued support and partnership.
