Step 1 - Getting Started:

Note that you may also log in to your own account to see what you have checked out and to renew your items.
If you do not have a Destiny login, please see Mrs. Bogle or Mrs. Monteith to request one.

See Ms. Bogle or Ms. Monteith for the username and password at ALBHS.

Use Grolier From Home
Answer the 4 questions and submit. The Grolier username and password will only be used the first time you try it. A cookie will be placed on your hard drive so that each time that you try to access the site from that particular computer, the website will remember you. (Make sure that cookies are enabled or you will only be able to use the username and password one time.)

* copying words or ideas from someone else without giving credit
* failing to put a quotation in quotation marks
* giving incorrect information about the source of a quotation
* changing words but copying the sentence structure of a source without giving credit
* copying so many words or ideas from a source that it makes up the majority of your work, whether you give credit or not

Couldn’t find it anywhere else?  From iTools.com,this site has lots of searchable databases to help you find whatever you need, from phone numbers to quotations to web page translators.

History:

World FactBook  From the CIA, this site provides almanac-style information on every country.  Find out about the geography, people, economy, communications, government, military, etc. for each country.

Awesome Stories  Easy-to-read discussions of history with links to original documents, art, etc. that help explain the information.

Encyclopedia Mythica  An encyclopedia devoted to mythology, folklore, and legends.

Religions of the World "The purpose of this site is to offer readings that present the ideas and beliefs of predominant religious movements." Discussion questions are included.

Foreign Language:
